Meet Women’s Empowerment Initiative (WEI), one of our valued partners in Nigeria. For over a decade, WEI has been at the forefront of supporting women and girls affected by gender-based violence.

What makes WEI exceptional is their deep community roots and their commitment to survivor-centred approaches. They don’t just provide services—they create spaces where women can reclaim their agency and dignity.

Through our partnership, WEI has expanded their reach to rural communities, bringing dignity kits, counselling, and skills training to women who previously had no access to support. Their team of trained counsellors and peer educators works tirelessly to ensure every woman feels heard, valued, and empowered.

WEI reminds us that sustainable change comes from strong local organisations who understand their communities intimately. Our role is to support their vision and amplify their impact.
